Production has begun on the ADVENTUREWAGEN high tops. Pricing for them is described on the ADVENTUREWAGEN Top Pricing page. We would like to do an initial run of ADVENTUREWAGEN tops and get them distributed to folks on a somewhat discounted basis as a "rollout" introduction to the Vanagon community. In order to be a part of the initial "rollout" group, 2 conditions have to apply. They are below, with the rationale for each of them

1. A firm committment has to be made - i.e. a deposit has to be put down. As in previous group shipments of hightops, the deposits are refundable up to a certain point in time, subsequent to that point in time, they are refundable whenever a replacement buyer comes forward. No one has lost a deposit. The purpose of the deposit is so that we can plan production based on firm numbers, not speculation.

2. The firm committment must be made within the next few weeks with mid April being the cut off point. The tops are not the only work that is produced in the shop. Our fabricator has to be able to plan and schedule the shop space and time necessary to produce the tops.

Availability subsequent to the end of 2015 production run

The planned shipping of the tops to distributors is during the last 2 weeks of Feb 2015

They will then be at the various distributors and will be priced as follows:

Top: $2400

Windows (side) $500 set of 2  side windows or

$750 set of 2 thermopane ***** Please note that the thermopane windows MUST be preordered. The "default" windows that will come with a top will be single pane. Ordering single thermopane sets at a later date will be significantly more expensive.

Delivery to installer/distributor : $250

Total : $3150 (single pane windows)  $3350 (thermopane windows)

Tops that are not presold with deposit and are subsequently available through installers/distributors will be priced higher. At the date of this writing (Oct 20) I don't have this pricing sorted yet, but it will be in the range of $300/set
